Our family holiday rental cottages in France are exclusively for families with babies, toddlers and young children. The enclosed garden filled with toys means your children will be entertained and with other toddlers and young children to play with, you'll actually have time to relax and even read a book ! Relax in the shade of the apple tree with a chilled glass of wine chatting to other like minded parents whilst your toddler makes new friends. We have 30 years worth of experience and literally hundreds of reviews from families, many of whom return year after year to our holiday rental properties in France. We provide all the baby and toddler equipment you need, all free of charge and we are an easy drive from the ports or fly to one of the many airports in the region such as La Rochelle and Bordeaux.
Two heated pools
At La Grange du Moulin family holiday rentals, we have two heated pools, one just for the toddlers. The main pool is 10m by 5m; the toddler pool is over 3m in diameter but just 70cm deep, perfect for babies & toddlers. The pool area is completely enclosed and secured by a gate with a child safety latch. The main pool is also alarmed and complies French safety regs.

Small enough to enable you to quickly get to know the other families, so you feel relaxed enough to let your children play freely in the enclosed garden; yet large enough to have lot's of facilities and other children to play with and other like minded adults to chat to.
Toddler friendly holiday cottages
Here at La Grange du Moulin child friendly holiday rentals we offer a range of family activities to help keep your children and toddlers entertained. The activities are held on site but there's no pressure to join in. Baby and toddler equipment is provided free of charge and Wendy is a registered childminder in France so you can have a night out knowing your children are well looked after. The gites are equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing self catering family holiday in France but no precious ornaments, Louis IV furniture or teak floors to worry about!

I'm concerned about my toddler accessing the pool
We understand that pools are one of parents’ biggest concerns. Our pool area is
- Fully fenced with one gate with a child safety latch
- Pool alarm that conforms to French safety standards
- Clear pool rules
- Good visibility around the pool
- Only a maximum of six families using the pool all with young children
We always explain pool safety clearly in our information folder, so you know exactly what to expect.
What about medical care or emergencies?
Peace of mind is important when travelling abroad with babies or when pregnant.
