With an enclosed garden and safely enclosed and alarmed swimming pool you will be able to relax with a chilled glass of wine chatting to like minded parents whilst your children and toddlers make new friends (and you do too !) Socialise with like minded parents over some cheese and wine, or find out everything you wanted to know about wine at one of our discovery evenings with our very own wine expert, Chris. Family yoga sessions and scuba diving offered on request. We are also licensed to offer a take away bar menu - with a selection of local wines, soft drinks and beer.
Chris and Wendy live next door so are available 24/7 for emergencies and to help with anything you need from a blocked sink to a restaurant reservation, a doctors appointment to recommendations on places to go. You'll see us around throughout the day, tending the pool and garden and maintaining the rental cottages and we are happy to chat too but most importantly we arn't intrusive.
Enclosed play garden
Our large enclosed child friendly garden has a sandpit and swings including a slide and baby/ toddler swing. There is plenty of space to play boules or ball. The garden and sandpit are directly opposite Ruche and Horloge cottages and within view of Papillon gite and Grenier gite. Our Pirate Ship is the star attraction and great for climbing. Our trampoline has a safety net for secure bouncing fun. There are numerous large trees around the garden creating plenty of shade and also lots of super hiding places. There are stone steps and slopes, trees and bushes so it is great for exploring and developing toddlers & young childrens physical skills (with supervision of course). Young children feel that they are completely free but the garden is not so large so that parents always feel comfortable allowing their children and toddlers to run around freely whilst they relax - you'll always hear them if they fall or cry.
Enclosed Swimming pool area
Our family friendly swimming pool area is completely enclosed by a 1m80 high fence and wall and is accessed by one gate which is self closing and has a child proof latch. The main pool is also alarmed for extra security. It is heated to 28c* using an efficient heat pump and even younger children and toddlers will happily swim / play in it. The older children will be hard to get out of it.
We also have our baby /Toddler splash pool, an above ground HEATED (to 30c*) pool, perfect for young children, toddlers and babies. It is surrounded by a wooden deck with lots of sunbeds. There is a good sized paved terrace surrounding the main pool also with plenty of sunbeds There are also a number of trees around the area which provide shade in different areas at different times of day.
* the chlorinated pools are heated by a heat pump which is dependant on the air temperature to reach it's programmed temperatures.
