We have a selection of child friendly holiday gites to choose from, which you can book direct, to suit all sizes of family and budget. We also have other family holiday rental properties in the SW France area suitable for older children and teens and also a family friendly private villa for families or adult only groups

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, 4 ring gas hob, electric oven/grill, toaster, electric kettle, plunger style cafetiere and all the crockery and cutlery needed for a comfortable self catering stay. 

There is an iron and board and drying rack plus washing machines and a tumble dryer can be found in the communal laundry room (free of charge usage) and a large rotary dryer in the garden.

Parent points: There is an open tread, cast iron, spiral staircase. (This has a stair barrier at both the top and bottom.) It is opposite the swimming pool. The pool is  completely enclosed and also has a security alarm and has a child safety latch on the gate.  It is also closest to 'La Decouverte' bar area.  The bar area is used for our welcome drinks and discovery events which are only held in the early evening around 6pm

The bathroom has a full sized bath and a shower attachment over the bath; sink and toilet. A baby bath can be provided on request.

There is a large patio window to the front opening onto the terrace with charcoal barbecue, outdoor dining table seating four and large parasol.

There is a small area of garden to the rear accessed around the side of the Fleurie cottage . There is a small wooden table and chairs where you can enjoy a glass of champagne whilst watching the sunset in the evening over the open fields. 



All the family friendly gites at La Grange du moulin have full access to the communal play garden as well as the all important heated swimming pool area. We have two heated swimming pools, one specifically for toddlers. The heated swimming pool area is fully enclosed with a child safety latch on the gate and also alarmed to comply with French safety regulations for swimming pools. 

Our family holiday properties are located in the heart of the French countryside with lovely views all around.

The Charente Maritime is also easy to get to with airports in la Rochelle, Bordeaux, Nantes, Poitiers and Limoges all accessible. The nearest port to the Charente Maritime is the French port of St Malo.
